It’s very easy to close the door on your oven and pretend the burning smell isn’t there. But over time – and after many cooked dinners – the fumes will inevitably get stronger and stronger from the burnt grease. When this happens, you know it’s finally time to admit defeat, get the gloves out and clean the oven!
If your oven has an auto-cleaning setting, feel free to try this out. This works by burning everything, turning all the burnt bits of food to ash, which can then be swept out and cleaned. But for those of you who want to try cleaning the oven yourself, follow our simple steps:
