Solar Panel Cleaning at Greenwood Park Community Centre, St Albans

We recently visited Greenwood Park Community Centre in St Albans to clean the solar panels on the building’s roof. With a large number of panels positioned high up, we needed a cherry picker to reach them safely.

How We Carried Out the Solar Panel Cleaning

We used a truck-mounted cherry picker to access the panels and cleaned them with purified water and a specialist solar panel cleaning brush to remove surface dirt and build-up.

Before starting, we carried out a risk assessment to make sure we had the right equipment and safety measures in place. The operator working from the platform wore a tested safety harness.

Once the work was finished, the panels had been cleaned of the surface dirt removed during our visit. Keeping solar panels clean helps prevent dirt and debris from reducing the amount of sunlight reaching them.

We clean solar panels on both commercial and domestic properties. If yours are due for a clean, call Scott & Sons today or take a look at our Solar Panel Cleaning service.
